Yapay zekâ çağında akıllı şehirler ve kentsel hareketliğin tartışılacağı konferans Profesör Kaan Özbay’ın sunumu ile 23 Aralık 2019 Pazartesi saat 16.30 İTÜ İşletme Fakültesi, Reşat Nalbandoğlu Amfisinde gerçekleştirilecek.
İngilizce olarak yapılacak olan konferansta, Türkiye'de akıllı şehir araştırması ve eğitimi açısından gelecekteki muhtemel yönlerin tartışılacak. Akıllı Şehirler, şehir lojistiğindeki son durum, erişilebilir ve esnek ulaştırmaya yönelik akıllı hareketlilik için bağlı şehirleri tarifi yapılacak.
ABSTRACT
In this talk, we will first give a brief introduction of the emerging area of "Smart Cities" with an emphasis on mobility and logistics. We will then describe Connected Cities for Smart Mobility towards Accessible and Resilient Transportation (C2SMART) Center at NYU, which is a federally funded University Transportation Center focusing on various aspects of mobility research, education and technology transfer. We will continue our presentation with the discussion of some of the key research areas of C2SMART including connected and autonomous vehicles, infrastructure health monitoring and resilience, last mile applications in city logistics, mobility of vulnerable populations, pro-active safety and traffic control and management. We will conclude with the discussion of possible future directions in terms of smart city research and education in Turkey and opportunities for collaboration with Turkish Universities and agencies
